MW4 DMZ Missions and DMZ Orders
MW4 DMZ missions come in four kinds: DMZ Orders that guide your progress, Story Missions, Dynamic Operations and Side Ops. Below is every one named so far with its objectives, plus a tracker you can tick off between deployments.
The four kinds of DMZ missions
- DMZ Orders are your main mission directives, grouped into chapters and pages. They teach the core systems, tell the story and pay out DMZ XP and stash items. The Boss Board at your FOB unlocks after your second Order. Read them at the FOB or from the Orders menu on the Tac-Map.
- Story Missions are one of the three ways to deploy, alongside Dynamic Operations and Free Roam. Third-party coverage of the trailers names five so far.
- Dynamic Operations give a deployment a clear objective. Pick one before infil or find a Dynamic Ops phone in Hajin. Each success brings a Supply Drop that gets better with every completion in the same deployment: Common, then Uncommon, then Rare.
- Side Ops are lower-intensity jobs for XP, resources or intel.

Side Ops in Hajin
- Lost Supply Drops: Find a supply drop that went astray.
- Truck repair: Repair a useful truck in the field.
- Radio towers: Climb a damaged radio tower to reveal the general location of a nearby Lieutenant.
- UAV Towers: Activate a UAV Tower for DMZ Cash and a pulse that reveals nearby Operators and enemies.
- SAM sites: Hack the control computer and hold the site; the captured battery then targets enemy aircraft, useful against Deathstalkers.
- Lieutenant Hunt towers: Use the terminal at the top to mark the nearest active Lieutenant.
Tips for DMZ Orders
- Read an Order’s requirements before deploying and pick the Operator, gear and route to match. Some Orders need a squad or better equipment.
- The early Counterfeit chapter sends you to a Police Station and Deadtown. Deadtown is Low threat outside, so it is a good first stop. Police Stations are in NuriGO Mall and Wolves Stadium, among others.
- Safes are often in Compounds and locked rooms; a key or a door charge helps.
- Failed exfils still keep the XP you earned, but items you were carrying are lost unless they sit in a Secure Slot.
